Hello all,
We, wolf spider and I, enjoy canoeing and kayaking. Therefore, we thought to create and event where we could get together with cachers and combine two of our passions: paddling and caching.
We will be traveling down and camping at Toronto Lake State Park Friday night. We are planning to camp in the Toronto Point camping area Friday night and everyone is welcome to join us then. Maybe we could get a good campfire and stories going that night. Maybe even roast some smores. It is a State Park so there is an entrance fee and if you plan to camp there is a fee for that as well.
What you will need:
A boat of some kind, most likely a canoe or kayak.
A lifejacket
Paddles
Etc, etc, etc...
If you don't want to camp, we plan to meet at the put in, the coordinates of this event, at 10 A.M. and take out at the waypoint later in the day. We will then shuttle as many cars as possible to the take out point and car pool back to the put in.
