Located on E. Topanga Fire Road, where there are panoramic views of the coastline and Catalina. Access from the end of Paseo Miramar from the south or Topanga State Park from the north.
From the south, you can get here by taking Paseo Miramar, off Sunset Blvd, all the way to the end. Please park in only designated areas. The views from the various vantage points on this road are worth the trip. Plus, the mild slope will give you a great lower body and cardio workout. The old "kill 2 birds with one stone" is one reason I love to hike-n-hunt. If you do start from PM, this will be the first cache. It's placed in this spot to wet your appetite and get the juices flowing. You'll be looking for a camoed poi pounder in a typical fortress. You should be able to spend more time enjoying the view than searching for this one.
