Geocache Description:

This is a small cache hidden near the entrance to the Blasdel Waterfowl Production Area. Cache is a waterproof cell phone case covered in camo duck tape, well hidden with space for very small trade items. Please hide in the same way you found it.

There is ample parking at this spot. The waterfowl production area is closed from May 1 - July 15 for the breeding birds every year but easily accessible the rest of the year. They do not plow the parking area, however, so if there's been heavy snow in the winter, parking may not be possible. Mosquitos may be bad towards July and August.

Have fun and please let us know if you enjoyed the hunt! While you're there, take a moment to enjoy the view of the old Blasdel Barn. It was built in 1909 and is on the National Register of Historic Buildings. It's one of the largest barns in the Flathead Valley and a common area of interest for photographers.
