I den gamla Bergsmansbyn Pershyttan finner ni en miljö som är både unik & typisk för hur en bergsmansby såg ut förr i tiden. Allt finns där av en anledning, därför att det behövdes för att göra järn. Arbete & glädje, sorg & glädje, järn & jordbruk. Pershyttan var ett sätt att leva. Idag har Pershyttan en ny viktig
roll: där produktionen nu gäller upplevelser istället för järn. Följ med så kan du Post a log!
Från startkoordinater går ni västerut längs grusvägen mot lavens informations skylt Åkergruvan. Notera följande information:
A. Hur djup är gruvshaktet?
B. Transformatorhuset daterar från vilket år? (**BB)
Fortsätt din vandring i sydvästlig riktning förbi transformatorhuset & flera gruvhål. Ta av höger på stigen innan ni kommer fram till Stånggången. OBS! Se upp för MTB åkare & förlupna fotbollar. Vid V korsningen välj vänster (MTB 3/5). Stanna vid informations skylten Övre Gruvfältet & svara på följande frågor:

D. Vilket år beskrivs gruvan som "urminnes gammal"? (*DDD)

Eng:The old mining village of Pershyttan is unique, at the same time typical of how things were in those days. This idyllic village is a tribute to all the work carried out here. Everything here has a purpose, it was needed to make iron. Work & play, grief & happiness, iron & farming – Pershyttan was a way of life.
Today the village has an important role: creating an experience rather than iron. Follow the instructions if you want to Post a log!
Follow the gravelled road west up towards the minins shaft & stop at the information board for The Åker Mine.

Continue southwest past the transformer house & some mining holes. Turn right onto the trail just prior to the reciprocating beam drive. Beware of MTB cyclists & stray footbolls. Follow the MTB trail 3/5 at the v-junction. Answer thwe following questions when you arrive at the information board for the Upper Mining Field.

4. In which year was the mine recognised as "old beyond memory"? (*DDD)
