A quick grab in the new half of Aldrich Cemetery, Somerset Township, Hillsdale County, MI
So, when one cemetery fills up and you are bounded by your terrain, you move to the other side of the road with a new cemetery. Despite what Google maps says, this is a separate cemetery from the one across the road. This is New Aldrich or West Aldrich depending on the source you use. As you can see looking from one side to another many of the pioneer families are still around, though a few including its namesake are absent.
