Access to this cache is by boat. You may be able to hire a boat at Murphy's Pond to take you across or if you choose to paddle, its about 2 km from the mainland depending on your choice of departure. Can launch from the provincial day park on Route 19 in Port Hood, near the old wharf adjacent to the rink, or from the boat launch at Murphy's Pond Wharf (Murphy's Pond Road) near the end of Main Street in Port Hood. The cache can be accessed from beaches on either side of the island. Park's Beach is a great place to swim and snorkel. A removable ramp provides access up over the cliffs. If the ramp is gone, may have to go round the backside of the island to access.
