The cache is hidden at about 700m above sea level, and on a clear day provides excellent view of Kowloon and parts of the New Territories. On very cold nights frost may be observed here.
GZ is a strenuous hike up from the nearest bus stop on Route Twisk (served by the rather infrequent route 51), or a short walk from the nearest car park on Tai Mo Shan Road.
