This is a small cache hidden in a park.
Short Heath Park is a good sized park on the edge of Erdington. It’s popular with dog walkers, and has a newly installed play and exercise area within it’s grounds.
There are only a few entrances to the park – it’s mostly enclosed by a metal fence, which I believe is an attempt to keep out some local gents who used to enjoy tearing around the park on quad bikes. So if you are unfamiliar with the park, it may take a minute or two to actually get in.
Parking is easy on nearby streets.
The cache is disguised. It’s about 15cm long and 3cm wide, and may be spotted because it won’t quite fit in exactly with the objects around it. You’ll need to bring your own pen.
