Geocache Description:

My first stashed cache.

I put this cache way up high in the Uintas by our favorite campsite. The terrain is tough, but a high clearance 4X4 or an atv can practically drive right to it. I wanted it to be remote, so it would be a bit of a challenge, but I didn't hide it in too obscure a place or at all difficult to walk to from the trail (looking to minimize environmental impact). The cache is stuffed inside a quart ziploc bag for protection from the rain and snow, and I included a couple spare baggies inside that one should replacement be neccessary. I stuffed this somewhat cylindrical container full of stuff, FTF by all means take your pick.
Beginning inventory :
1 carabiner/compass/thermometer/keychain combo.
1 chainmaille bracelet (made by Torque)
1 deck of new playing cards (for those rainy times in the high Uintas)
1 hat pin and 1 safety pin
2 cabochons
1 small chunk petrified wood
1 geode crystal chunk
2 AA batteries and 2 AAA batteries (for your GPSr in case you may need them)
1 carabiner
2 pencils
1 Log Book.
