Take a stroll by the old Ausable river bed, where the river flowed until last century when the townfolk voted to divert it to the current marina and beach area.
Now still and a little murky, this dead river bed is a lesser known side of Grand Bend. There is a lovely maintained path in summer, and frogs, turtles and muskrats abound. There is poison ivy in the woods, so stick to the path.
The cache is a medium lidded box with a log and trade-able item. Please repleace the lid tightly to keep the earwigs out!
