7.15. Archive or unarchive a geocache
Archiving a geocache is meant to be a permanent action. Only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ can unarchive caches. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if the cache meets the current geocaching guidelines.

If a cache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance, it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

A simple cache not far from the entrance to Harry Bowey Reserve

For Harry's 7th birthday he got given some pencils and very innocently asked me if the container would make a good cache container - guess my saving containers for 'just in case' has rubbed off on him!  "yay thats my boy!!!!".

So here we go, this is Harry's first hide and has been hidden just after his birthday. What better way to hide your first hide than to put it in a park with his name attached.

Harry Bowey Reserve is a great place for a family day out or special event.

Shaded barbeque and picnic areas and public toilets make it ideal for entertaining. A junior playground, a cricket pitch and two steel net tennis courts provide sporting choices for children.

Large walking bridges over the nearby Little Para River can be followed east to Carisbrooke Reserve, across the river to Boundary Park or west to Jenkins Reserve.

Compressed trails run through this tree filled reserve and aid unassisted access for those using wheelchairs.

Car parking is provided but the gates to the car park are closed at sunset. For safety reasons I recommend doing this cache during the day
