Dave was born in Urbana, Illinois a few years back 
so we thought we'd add another Illinois city cache to this series. Another quick P&G on the Illinois trail.
Urbana is the tenth-most populous city in Illinois outside of the Chicago metropolitan area. Most of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus is located here. Most people don't realize this, but in the 1968 film, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Urbana was named as the location where the malfunctioning HAL 9000 computer of the ill-fated Discovery Mission to Jupiter was programmed! So, now you know! Although we didn't stay in Illinois long, this area is a special place in our past.
