I parked at the upper parking lot for this one and it took me about 25 minutes one way to walk to this location. I did take some short cuts since I know the area. You will be looking for a green plastic nut container. I have a log book, a transporter hotel card and many plastic frogs in this one. GPS was reading 40 feet today (8/6/15)
Per the parks requirement this one is just off the trail. This is a bike/hike trail so watch out for those two wheels as you make your trek. If you check out the creek near the hide you should find some frogs in the correct season. Today there seemed to be about 10 to 20 that jumped into the water as I approached the area.
From the upper parking lot you will want to take the hiking trail just behind the outhouse. This will lead you to the trail which goes down the hill past the waterfall and then back up the otherside and will take you to the yellow bike/hike trail. You can also catch the yellow bike/hike trail from the lower parking area.
