Geocache Description:

Cleaveland Rapids is a rapids located 8.3 miles from Roseburg near Cleaveland, Or.  Fisherman will find a variety of fish including Sunfish, Brown Trout and Largemouth Bass.  This is an excellent spot for sun lovers, gold hunters, fishermen, floaters, boaters, snorkelers and bird watchers.  You can park in the parking lot, or drive your vehicle onto the rocks.  The beach is very rocky, but the kids don't seem to mind and I always wear river shoes.

There always seems to be a group of people with gold fever near by.  This maybe the only treasure they find, if they care to look.  This treasure is hidden near a fallen tree, you will not need a shovel, bucket, pan or dredge.  Shoebox size container, black tape.
