Geocache Description:

Panther Road Mini Power Trail

This is a five cache super mini power trail. This power trail includes various caches of all types and sizes. We have also included a multi-cache along the way to help you enjoy our little community.

This trail commerates our family's attempts at racking up the numbers in two separate power trails this month.

We quickly discovered that power trails for us are not about racking up the numbers but the quality time spent together and all those unforgettable moments of hysterical laughter.

My family and I are huge football fans--"Roll Tide" and "Go Panthers!!!" But I have to say that we are very partial to the local marching band.

With football and marching band season right around the corner we thought we pay tribute to all the young men and women athletes, cheerleaders, and band members, as well as directors, faculty members, fans, and families who play such an important part in bringing us together in the wonderful world of football.

This trail also marks our first attempt at hiding a cache. We hope you enjoy the time you spend on this trail and hope that you too will make some unforgettable memories.

The first part of this multi cache is located on one of our highways old roads.  This new old road was named after our school's mascot.  When you find this part of the cache use your paws to write down the coorinates of the second part of this multi.  You will then be taking a joy ride through our wonderful countryside to discover more of our community and school pride.

The first part is a well hidden micro cache.  Please put cache back exactly the way you found it. The second part is a regular size container--large enough to drop off some great trackables.

Enjoy your journey and be sure to cheer for the home team--"Go Wicksburg Panthers!!!"
Congratulations to pates306 for being the FTF. I got a message that he was the one who actually discovered the second part of the cache first. Thanks TheRushFamily for keeping me informed.
