Паметникът на хан Крум се издига на 12 метра височина на един от площадите в най-големия пловдивски район - “Тракия”. Великият пловдивски владетел е изваян, яхнал красив жребец. Бронзовата фигура на Крум е висока 6 метра, а постаментът- 4. Автор на монумента е известният пловдивски скулптор Николай Савов. Пловдив вдигна паметника, увековечавайки 809-та –годината, в която градът е бил присъединен от Крум към пределите на българската държава.

The monument to Khan Krum is 12 metres high, and can be seen on a square in the largest Plovdiv region named Trakia. The great Bulgarian ruler is sculptured on the back of a lovely stallion. The bronze figure of Krum is six metres tall while its pedestal measures four metres. The monument is authored by the famous Plovdiv sculpturer, Nikolay Savov. Plovdiv erected the monument to eternalize the 809th year in which Krum made this city part of the Bulgarian state.
