archy_cache: I'm archiving the Dr. Who series. This series was meant to be fun, but has been nothing but a hassle. I'm tired of people complaining about the cache being missing when it was in fact there or claiming to find a cache that was in fact missing. I'm tired of cache hiding spots being cut down or destroyed. And don't get me started about people leaving candy in the cache containers. Seriously?! DO NOT LEAVE FOOD IN THE CACHES PEOPLE!

Those who were observant may have noticed that there was no cache for the 3rd Doctor. He might make a brief appearance this summer...

Geocache Description:

This cache is one in a series of caches that commemorate the 50th anniversary of the longest running TV science fiction show, Dr. Who. Each of the caches is placed in a location referencing a place, person, episode, or event from Dr. Who. There is one cache for each of the eleven Doctors, each cache container may be different or hidden in a manner unique from the others. See if you can keep up with the Doctor on his adventures across time and space.

This cache is named for the episode "The Highlander", which originally aired in 1966. In this episode, the 2nd Doctor (played by Patrick Troughton) meets Jamie. Jamie joins the Doctor for a number of mis-adventures and even returns in "The Five Doctors" as a cameo. The container you are seeking is a camoed nano that can be found hanging around.

Please be mindful of muggles and replace the cache with care. As always, please share the cache condition so that I can keep it well maintained.
