Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the FIDKIDS series.  It consists of a cache at each of our pediatric dental offices. Happy caching and please take care of your teeth.

The premolar teeth are also known as bicuspids because each has at least two cusps and are located between the canine and molar teeth. There are two premolars per side (both upper and lower) resulting in eight premolars total in the mouth. Premolars can be considered as a 'transitional tooth' during chewing, or mastication. It has properties of both the anterior canines and posterior molars, and so food can be transferred from the canines to the premolars and finally to the molars for grinding, instead of directly from the canines to the molars. Permission to hide this cache has been given by the property owner, Thomas Turner.
