This cache has been archived.

-allenite-: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

This cache is one in a series of caches that commemorate the 50th anniversary of the longest running TV science fiction show, Dr. Who.  Each of the caches is placed in a location referencing a place, person, episode, or event from Dr. Who.  There is one cache for each of the eleven Doctors, each cache container may be different or hidden in a manner unique from the others.  See if you can keep up with the Doctor on his adventures across time and space.

This cache is named for the episode “Vincent and the Doctor”, in which the 11th Doctor (Matt Smith) finds a creature in the window of a church in Vincent van Gogh's The Church at Auvers, and the Doctor takes his companion, Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) back to meet Vincent and defeat the evil creature.

This cache is located in the lot west of Van Gogh Tattoo.  The container that you are seeking for this cache is small and magnetic and might just hold the key to the TARDIS.  This cache is placed in a high-traffic area, so please be mindful of muggles.  Do NOT get the cache if people are around and be sure to replace the cache with care.  As always, please share the cache condition so that I can keep it well maintained.

Congratulations to Team MEMILA for the early morning FTF!
