The Australian Rally Championship takes in some of the country’s most stunning and picturesque locations including the Adelaide Hills.
Husband and wife team Simon and Sue Evans have won four Australian Rally Championships in five years. Driving their own privately prepared vehicle the duo became the first pair to win the Championship in vehicles of three different manufacturers.
They have also taken line honours in the Rally of South Australia in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.
The most spectactular performance from the duo in South Australia was in 2001 where they managed to finish the rally on only 3 wheels (much to the digust of the local constablatory)
Even though they took a "retirement" in 2011, they returned to the roads of South Australia in 2012.
