A beautiful part of the Gironde region, with fields full of vineyards, sunflowers corn and tobacco. We have created a lovely circular route which can be walked, cycled or driven round (please note when driving you will not be able to go in the complete circle - there will be plenty of going back on yourself!). You can of course pull over in the car for the roadside caches, but parking at the car park waypoints is recommended. The whole route is either on quiet roads or public footpaths. A few of the caches near Dufreche itself are on private land, but that's ok as it's owned by the CO!
Each cache can be visited and logged in its own right, however some of the caches have an additional clue on the back of the log which when put together, will give you the co-ordinates to the bonus cache. There are five different clues to collect. You may visit the caches in any order you wish.
For the smaller caches please bring a pen. There is a pen already inside the larger caches, along with swaps.
This cache takes you in to a wood which used to be used by a local Palombiere, a bit further into the wood from the cache you will see his hide. A Palombe is a pigeon, hunted locally in October and November. More info can be found here: http://www.palombe.com/fievrebleue/

Une belle partie de la région de la Gironde, avec des champs pleins de vignes, de maïs, tournesol et le tabac. Nous avons créé un joli chemin circulaire qui peut être parcouru a pied, par vélo ou en voiture. (s'il vous plaît noter qu’en voiture vous ne serez pas en mesure d'aller dans le cercle complet - il y aura beaucoup de revenir sur vous-même). Vous pouvez bien sûr arrêter en voiture pour les caches en bordure de route, mais le stationnement sur les parkings des waypoints est recommandé. La totalité du parcours est soit sur des routes tranquilles ou sentiers publics. Quelques-uns des caches près de Dufreche lui-même sont sur des terres privées, mais ce n'est pas grave car il est détenu par le CO!
Chaque cache peut être visité et enregistré dans son propre droit, mais certains de ces caches ont un indice supplémentaire sur le dos du journal, qui une fois mis ensemble, vous donnera les coordonnées de la cache bonus. Il ya cinq indices différents à collectionner. Vous pouvez visiter les caches dans n'importe quel ordre que vous souhaitez.
Pour les plus petits caches s'il vous plaît apporter un stylo. Il y a un stylo déjà à l'intérieur des caches plus importants, avec des echanges.
Celui-ci doit être un cache rapide si vous êtes en voiture, car il n'y a pas de parking. A pied, à vélo ou cheval, il n'y a pas de problème du tout!
Ce cache vous emmène dans un bois qui a été utilisé par une Palombière, un peu plus loin dans le bois à partir du cache, vous verrez son abri. La Palombe est chassé localement en Octobre et Novembre. Plus d'infos peuvent être trouvés ici: http://www.palombe.com/fievrebleue/
