dlm4141: I've lost interest, and this wasn't a very successful cache. It got lost somehow.

Geocache Description:

Every creature needs shelter.

This is a magnetic microcache. Bring your own writing utensil, and you may need tweezers to extract the log from its container.

At dusk, hundreds of crows roost in the trees lining this section of the street. On July 31, this is at about 8:15 pm. Their communication with each other is fascinating. They can also be heard at dawn when they begin their day (around 5 am). Signs of their occupation can be seen on the sidewalk on this block. Crows are considered the most intelligent of all the birds and there is much mythology about them. Some of their nests can be seen up in the sweetgum trees. There is also a grove of redwoods in the middle of the nearby apartment complex where they also roost.
