Sa font de Randa és una de les moltes fonts d'aigua naturals que existeixen a Mallorca. Segons pareix va ésser construïda pels Àrabs en el temps de dominació Àrab a Mallorca (els anys 902 fins al 1229)

La Font de Randa es troba a un carrer d'aquest llogaret d'Algaida. Tan sols podem observar la sortida de l'aigua a una paret on se veu clarament un portal tapiat que se correspon amb la mina d'aquesta font.
Segons la informació que ofereix l'ajuntament, se tracta d'un qanat islàmic de 48 m de llarg. Noltros tan sols hem pogut observar un pou d'aireig tapat amb una llosa al carrer, a uns 25 m de la boca de la mina.
L'aigua de la Font de Randa sembla que se podia utilitzar per reguiu però els seus sobrants fóren afegits des de ben antic (abans de 1513) a l'aigua de la Font de Son Reus en la seva missió d'abastir la vila de Llucmajor. Van complir aquesta funció fins l'any 1969.

The fountain of Randa is a water source of many natural water sources that exist in Mallorca. He would seem to be built by the Arabs in the time of Arab domination in Mallorca (the years 902 to 1229)
