This cache has been muggled three times recently. Hopefully it will not wander from here. (11-5-2014). And hopefully the gardeners will plant some new trees (8-2-2015)
THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES, BUT IS LESS THAN A MILE AWAY.
I helped out in my grandson’s 1st grade classroom last year…Mrs. Patterson’s class at Bubb Elementary School in Mountain View. One day she did an exercise that helped the kids with their analytical skills, so I thought it could become a simple mystery cache.
There were five boys and five girls in the exercise. They were:
Girls Boys
Megan Eric
Emily Kyle
Lyla Ryan
Anne Zachary
Kimberly Paul
The first part of the exercise was to “form a single file line, starting with a girl and alternating girl/boy/girl/boy etc., with all of the boys in alphabetical order by first name and all of the girls in alphabetical order by first name.”
Then Mrs. Patterson stood at the front of the line and said, “Now I’m going to ask some of you to move to a new position in line, so that you will be arranged by height.”
- Paul—move forward 5 places, then
- Kimberly—move forward 3 places, then
- Eric—move back 5 places, then
- Ryan—move back 3 places, then
- Megan—move forward 3 places, then
- Lyla—move back 2 places, then
- Eric--move forward 2 places, then
- Zachary—move forward 2 places, then
- Anne and Kimberly—trade places.
Mrs. Patterson then said that the first person in line would be number 0, the second person in line would be number 1, etc.
She then told them a geocache could be found at:
N 37° AA.EmRP W 122° PZ.PKiR
