Geocache Description:

Be part of a ribbon dancing flash mob to the Interlude Dance at this unique event where community members, young and seasoned, chalk the sidewalks around the Pappajohn Education Building.
Be ready to go at 10:45 am.  The song will start as close as possible to that time.

When you get to the site, you'll find a bucket with ribbon dancing sticks and a log book in the middle of the lawn.  We've seen groups of people ranging in age from 3-80 do the Interlude Dance led by a 5 year old, so if they can do it, we can certainly do it!

Not sure what the Interlude Dance is?  Check out the dance instructions by googling Interlude Dance on YouTube or find them here:

Parking may be tight since it's downtown, but it should at least be free.  Free, cold water will also be available on site.  For those who haven't been downtown or to this event, make sure to schedule some time to grab your own chalk and create your own design, as well as take a stroll through the sculpture park.  This is a free, family event that is perfect for all ages.  Be aware that water features surround the park and little feet and bodies tend to get wet.

In case of rain, we'll see you next year!
