This cache was placed as part of the McHenry County Conservation District's Cache Your Way Across McHenry County program. You do not need to be part of the program to seek this cache but please leave the informational card inside the cache in tact for those who are!
The Brookdale site is home to a small woodland area. A common invasive species found in here is Japense Honeysuckle. It is a natural for deer, rabbits, hummingbirds and other wildlife. Despite it being a food source, what about it makes it a negative species?
This site houses the District's Administrative Offices. It is a designated spot to turn in your Cache Your Way answer sheets! Office hours are M-F 8-4:30.
