[EN] The Trinity Church from Sibiel was built in 1765. The Interior painting in fresco, was crafted in the years 1774-1775 by Stan and Iacob Zugravu. As a feature of its painting can see the popes theme, a relatively rare theme in Byzantine art, which proves that at Sibiel pulsed a rich multicultural artistic life. Near the church is the Museum of icons on glass "Zosim Oancea" which contains the largest collection of glass icons from Transylvania (XVIII-XIX century).
[RO] Biserica Sfânta Treime din Sibiel a fost contruită în anul 1765. Pictura sa interioară în frescă, a fost lucrată în anii 1774-1775 de către Stan si Iacob Zugravu. Ca şi o particularitate a picturii sale se observă motivul Papilor, o temă destul de rară în arta bizantină, ceea ce dovedeşte că la Sibiel pulsa o viaţă artistică multiculturală bogată. Lângă biserică se află Muzeul de icoane pe sticlă "Zosim Oancea" care cuprinde cea mai mare colecţie de icoane pe sticlă din Ardeal (sec. XVIII-XIX).

[HU] Nagyszeben központjától 20 km-re nyugatra helyezkedik el Szibiel (Sibiel, Budenbach). Temploma - a Szentháromság ortodox templom 1765 és 1776 között épült. Két resinári népi mester, Stan és Iacob Zugravu által 1774-1775 között készített freskóit öt rétegnyi mész és korom alól tárták föl. A templom mellett található Románia legnagyobb üvegikon-múzeuma. A 2005-ben elhunyt Zosim Oancea atya 1969-ben kezdte gyűjteni darabjait, amelyek közül a múzeum hatszázat mutat be.
