We discovered this pretty spot while exploring after searching for Campsite Overlook cache. The trail follows Lindy Run, a branch of the Blackwater. Park at Lindy Point Overlook in Blackwater State Park. Walk .28 mile to where Lindy Run Trail veers off to the left. It is often marked by a cairn. Please follow trail. There is no need to bushwhack!
After you log the cache, walk further up the trail for additional views of cascades and small waterfalls.
You will have to cross the stream which flows over Canaan Loop Rd. to get to the cache, but unless it has rained a lot recently, you can step on rocks and not get your feet wet!
