This cache is placed just above the parking area for the trail that leads into the Royal Basin, Olympic National Park. The cache is outside the Park and Wilderness boundaries, located within the Olympic National Forest I placed this cache shortly before a backpack into Royal Lake and a climb of Mt. Deception which is the second highest peak on the Olympic Peninsula.
The cache is an ammo can which is well hidden from an often busy parking area.
