Geocache Description:

2010 is the BSA 100th Anniversary Celebration,

The BSA is tapping into the outdoor fun and excitement of geocaching and inviting you along for the adventure! Through Get in the Game! geocaching events, Scouts and non-Scouts alike will search for prizes in this fast-paced orienteering quest. It's a great way to share interesting and useful Scouting skills — and outdoor adventure — with today's tech savvy kids.

This cache is located at the Willard Clock Museum in Grafton MA  Home of BSA Troop 107, BSA Troop 112 and Troop 106. This cache has been placed with the approval of The Willard House and Clock Museum Director Patrick Keenan and the Willard House Staff.

Benjamin Willard began making clocks in his small, rural Massachusetts workshop in 1766. His three younger brothers, Simon, Ephraim and Aaron, quickly learned the trade and began a three-generation clockmaking legacy in the Grafton workshop. .
Today, over 80 Willard clocks are exhibited in the birthplace and original workshop of the Willard clockmakers, along with family portraits, furnishings and other Willard family heirlooms. Works by all three generations of Willard clockmakers, including famed clockmakers Simon Willard Jr. and Benjamin Franklin Willard, are also displayed. Take a step back in time and witness a unique and important part of America's techological, artistic, and entrepreneurial history with us at the Willard House and Clock Museum.

This is an easy park and grab, great for kids! Stop by the Museum during Open hours and special events.  There have been may Eagle projects completed here in the past and there are many more projects to do for aspiring scouts looking for an eagle project.

Initial contents include: Pillars of Scouting Travel bug: Character!

Reaching the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America requires years of dedication and hard work. In addition to 21 required merit badges, each Scout must complete a project that — on average — requires 167 service hours. In 2008 alone, that translated to $16 million in service.

This cache is part of a nationwide geocaching series called "Cache to Eagle" that showcases these special contributions.

There are 12 caches in the Mohegan Council Cache to Eagle Series. You will find one of the 12 points of the Scout Law inside each cache . When you have found all 12 caches, send a list of the caches with the corresponding Scout Law, your name and mailing address to Geocaching.com user Mohegan-BSA. If your list is correct, we'll send you a Cache to Eagle commemorative patch!

For Scouts finding this cache as part of the cache to eagle series If you find this cache before I write the scout law on the cache and on the stash note this weekend, please email me after you log this find and I will email you the Scout Law for this cache.
