Geocache Description:

This is a walking or driving trail around Barton on Humber getting clues from the Civic Society's Blue Plaques ending up at a 35mm film canister with a log book only.  The co-ordinates given are for the first clue, not for the cache itself.

The distance from the first plaque to the final location is just over two and a half miles and so can be done in one day if required. There are various cafes and public toilets en-route if needed. Some of the co-ordinates are not accessible to the public but all are visible from the pavement.

The information needed is as follows:

Clue 1:  The year that the Coastguard Station was opened = AAAA
Clue 2:  The year that the Waterside Inn was built = BBBB
Clue 3:  The year that the Wesleyan Day School was built = CCCC
Clue 4:  The year that the Temperance Hall was built = DDDD
Clue 5:  The year that the Free Charity School was built = EEEE
Clue 6:  The year that the Barton Lodge was erected = FFFF
Clue 7:  The year that the Court closed = GGGG
Clue 8:  The year that the Corn Exchange was opened = HHHH
Clue 9:  The year that Laurel House was built = JJJJ
Clue 10: The year that Tyrwhitt Hall received its restoration award= KKKK

And now for the sums:

PP equals GGGG minus BBBB minus 201
SS  equals HHHH minus EEEE minus 11
WW equals AAAA minus FFFF plus 25
XXX equals KKKK minus JJJJ plus 85
YY  equals CCCC minus DDDD
ZZZ equals PP multiplied by SS

This gives the final co-ordinates of:

N 53' WW.XXX W 0' YY.ZZZ

Have fun.
