This multi-cache can be achieved in around 1 hour 15 mins from the Groe car park in the centre of Builth Wells. You will not be disappointed with the wonderful 360° views from the top and the walk which is really not that hard and is suitable for children and off-road buggies.
At Builth Wells the main car park is at the Groe (OS 041 511)
Much of the walk is on a quiet tarmac lane (Newry Road) with the final 2/3 mile following a well trodden path through three fields to the top trig-point.
The given coordinates are for the trig-pillar at the summit of Garth Hill where the four figure reference (ABCD) will fill the gaps of the actual cache location which is at:
N52° 08.4B7 W3° 2C.2D9
As there can be sheep and wild mountain ponies on this hill please ensure dogs are kept on a lead at all times.
We hope you enjoy another one of our favourite family walks.
