Another hike and grab cache
Hiked this trail which I think is called Forbush trial, but not quite sure. Hiked all the way to the Santa Yanez Rive then back up for a 7.5 mile hike with 2100 foot of elevation loss then gain. Quite a good workout and a beautiful area to explore. I'm thinking in the winter after it has rained a bit would be the most excellent time to hike this. There was some water along the trail where the canyon narrows which make for a nice strip and dip on a hot day, however the river was dry. Bring plenty of drinking water, a camera and enjoy the views. Under a rock near a row of Oaks. Click on related web page link at top of page for trail info.
