This cache is to comemorate the 110 years since Australia's worst industrial accident. Whilst searching for this cache spare a few moments to remember the 96 persons who died in the mine and the 150 family members who's lives would for ever be changed.
Thirty three miners are buried in the cemetery, some in unmarked gaves, others are buried in the Mt Kembla and Wollongong.
In all 93 miners and 2 rescurers were found but the body of Mickey Brennan was never found, its believed his ghost now haunts the Mt. Kembla Hotel.
