This stone house dates from the early 1800's and is all that remains of the Sleeth residence, the last owner being George Sleeth who sold it to Thomas Watt in the mid 50's and moving away when his wife died. The site is currently owned by Darran Watt who is the 3rd generation of Watts to own it. He built a new house on the site in 2009.
The cache is a small box containing a logbook, pencil and a few small swops.
There is ample parking at the site and you do not need to go onto private property.
This is an easy enough find but isn't wheelchair friendly sadly. The house owner knows it is there and if you encounter any dogs do not be scared in any way as they are completely harmless.
Please do not come to this cache after dark so its important to come in daylight hours.
