This cache is placed in a Roseville public park. The park is open dawn to dusk year round. No night caching here!
It is popular now with the Pepsi products to make Throw Back drinks. Basically it is going back to the old days and how they used real sugar. This cache has nothing to do with sugar, but it is a throw back. Back in the days when I started caching people actually place caches that were not on private property, they were in parks and public lands. Today most caches are placed on private property without permission, weather in a parking lot or even gutsier directly in gardens and other places that disturb someone’s space. The Roseville Parks and Recreation have been very kind to cachers allowing caches to be placed in their parks.
Do not expect a park and grab but an enjoyable time in a nice park, just like the old days!
FYI: The distance around Dooley track is 4,360 Ft. or .825 miles; completing 6 laps is equal to 5 miles. Bike riders and skaters are asked to go clockwise. Runners and walkers should go counter clockwise. Dogs are permitted on leash. All Roseville Parks are open from 8:00am until 11:00pm per City ordinance. Restroom facilities are available at most parks from Memorial day to Labor day annually.
