Sick... We're going on vacation! Smile... We're having lots of fun fishing! Ache... We hate having to leave. :(
One of his favorite spots for fishing and recreating, Wingnut and his family have been coming to Six Mile Lake for almost 40 years. He shared it with me this year for two fishing getaways, and I'm hooked, pun intended, of course! It's a fantastic Walleye lake (especially in the spring) with decent Northern, Perch and Bass fishing as well. I landed my biggest Northern this week, a 29" 6-pounder... Still little by most anglers' definitions, but big enough for the local resort's Seasonal Wall of Fame! At the time of publication, there was another cache near the lake's access point just south of here. Camping, boating, fishing, ATVing and hiking are all available nearby, at the resort or Chippewa National Forest.
Sick Smile Ache cache is a regular sized camoed pretzel container that will be great for trading. I started it out with a Jeep TB that a friend passed along to me. It's hidden rather close to the road, since I have a healthy fear of ticks and Lyme disease. Please wear long pants and consider using bug spray anyway. Log trucks, construction and recreational vehicles travel here often, so please be careful and leave your hazard lights on while grabbing the cache.
