Geocache Description:

One of a series of 7 tree caches along the walking/mountain biking route between Alva & Tillicoultry. Parking is available at the Woodland Park car park or on Golf View Tilli. If GPS is inaccurate with the tree cover just use the cache name.

In Japan, where it is endemic, this tree is known as Sugi. It is their national tree. Although we call it Japanese Cedar it is not a true cedar but a member of the cypress family. There is another specimen growing at Airthrey, Stirling University.

BYOP & tweezers might be useful.
