Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Gateway Park off Highway 69 just right outside of Emmons. The park is open 24/7 but gated off in the winter months. If you attempt to make the find of this cache in the winter months, it may require a longer hike and a higher difficulty level. There may be high traffic at times as there are many people that have get togethers in the park. This is NOT a quick p & g. Cache contains log only so BYOP please.

There is a nice well packed trail that will bring you to this cache. Enjoy the stroll or bring your bicycles. Be aware of possible 4 wheelers rolling through the area as well as people walking their dogs. This cache is placed here as it gives you a great view of State Line Lake. There are usually several pelicans near the point that are fun to watch. You may be lucky and be able to watch eagles soaring or flying above. Congrats to Whaleboat & JoJo on the FTF!
