Geocache Description:

Infinity Falls is a small traditional cache located between upper and lower Reed Lakes above the long abandoned Snowbird Mine Village. The Reed Lakes trailhead is located off Archangel Road in the Hatcher Pass Area of the Talkeetna Mountains. This cache can be an end destination or one found along the way to a longer day or overnight trip further up the valley!

LBK, Skifast and I were headed up the trail and valley to the Bomber cache and on the way up we took a few photos of the falls and continued on our way.  This was where our nice summer hike turned into winter!!!  There was snow all the way to the pass and a lot of it.  We didnt know what each step would bring.  The snow was up to waist deep in spots...in June!!!  We expected some but not quite what we found!!!

On the way back down, we decided this was too nice a spot to pass up without leaving a cache.  The falls themselves are beautiful, but the views all around are just as beautiful.

The cache is a watertight cell phone dry box that measures 6 in x 1-5/8 in x 3 in and is packed with a few items you might need along the trail.

The cache is placed under Mat/Su Permit #S12-010. This cache is not difficult to find and the journey is not all that bad either.
