Geocache Description:

This cache location is close to where a grass fire threatened the nearby community in February 2012.  Yes...that's right...a grass fire in February!!

This past winter in Calgary was one of the driest in history. In February, a grass fire broke out on the hillside just beyond the cache location. It is hard to see the fire site now with the fresh growth since we experienced so much rain this spring! My son created this cache for a school project on geocaching.  So it is heavy on the cammo tape in a regular lock n' lock.  There is a TB for the FTF!!
