Geocache Description:

Had not been to Mapua for a wee while and we went recently we were thrilled to see all the work that
 had been done along the waterfront.

There is now a parking area that has walkways to the new viewing platform on the waters edge and gardens and seating - very attractive.

They have also done a new floating pontoon  and a great heron statue  - so if you haven't been there for awhile heres an excuse :-)


A simple park and grab - it however will be a very busy place at times  - good luck
