While I was out caching in the area during the Summer of 2012, I noticed this land mark. I expected to see a California Inspection station not far south of here. However, none was to be found. Is this a hole in California’s first line of defense in protecting its environment and resources from invasive species? Maybe so since the closest one is the Hornbrook Border Station on I-5.
