Geocache Description:

This cache will bring you to the road where the roberts bridge was originally located.

The cache is a small container that you may need tweezers to extract the log. No need to cross the fence to get to it.

Old Camden Pike used to run south from here and go across 7 mile creek using Roberts brige. I thought it would be neat to put a cache here so you can see where it used to be.

The rebuild bridge is in town close to crystal lake. There is a geocache there called double barreled by the oldpotters. This cache also has information about the bridge.

Roberts Bridge is the oldest bridge in ohio being built in 1829 and is the only double-barrelled covered bridge in Ohio and one of only six left in the United States.

Sadly on August 5, 1986, the bridge was burned by arsonists.
