The caches in this series are all micro caches in small little golden/brass containers that contain nothing but a log to sign. So, please make sure to bring your own pencil to sign the log.
The Spout Trail is by far my favorite trail to hike. I have hiked it 3 times now, from the Goulds to Bay Bulls, and while at the end I am always dead..lol..it is worth the pain! This cache is not on the actual trail (the trail is already full of caches!), but on the road that leads to the trail. It can be done as a park and grab. While this is a beautiful trail, if anyone plans to hike it completely, you would need to be well prepared, and in decent shape. It's 24 kms of tough Newfoundland wilderness, it's as tiring as it is beautiful. :) Please make sure to drive to the end of the road and at least look at where this beautiful trail begins!
Have fun, and happy caching! :)
