This is in Huckleberry Nature Preserve near Vererans' Park. It is a gem for RV/ tent campers staying on the Peninsula near Monterey Bay Aquarium, Carmel, Pacific Grove, and Pebble Beach. This preserve offers fantastic view of the bay. Best to take a 184 step scenic trail that follows the bear!
The Presidio is now the Defense Language Institute teaching some 43 foreigh languages and dialects to the Department of Defense military.
The cache is a camoflaged peanut butter container with LOG and some TB's and goodies!.
PARK NEAR VETERANS' FLAG POLE PARKING LOT AT N 36.35.911 / w 121.54.786. DO NOT PARK ALONG CA 68 AS DANGEROUS AND YOU CAN BE CITED BY SHERIFF AND CHP!
Best to park at Vet's Park and take the nice loop to the cache. Alternate trails also lead to the cache.
