There's not much history around Strathpine, nor many geocaches. The old council hall, now home to a community theatre, is the exception providing an interesting little place for a cache. The hall was built in 1889 and became the administrative centre of the Pine Divisional Board (later the Pine Rivers Shire).
The building's exterior and gardens are accessible to the public 24/7, but muggler activity might be high when an act is playing inside or on dole day (due to the building across the road).
The cache is within a step or two of the footpath. The cache is big enough to fit only a limited number of small swaps. The GPS location is quite accurate for this one.
