Come take a nice walk on the Countryside Conservancy's Messimer Preserve! Park at the same coordinates used for "Must Love Big Dogs" or drive down the road a little farther to the small area at the trailhead. This is helpful especially if you need to avoid the dog; however, I do not recommend the road for all vehicles. Having some clearance does help, and there can be mud. Use your own discretion. There is a Countryside Conservancy sign at this area too.
Cache is a small lock in lock. Girls like the woods too, and this place is beautiful! The trail continues and connects to Lackawanna State Park. Not too far down the trail from the cache is the entrance to a meadow (about 0.1mi). The meadow fills with butterflies, so if you are enjoying the walk and have extra time it's worth taking a look. (Of course this is not required for this cache!) Hunting is allowed by permission in this area. We saw an old tree stand that was falling apart.
