Located along the scenic Armstrong Trail between the Allegheny River and PA Gamelands. You will see a lot of big old trees along here such as American Basswood, Tulip Trees, Maples, and Oaks. See "additional waypoints" for public parking info. Please observe all trail rules. Placed with permission from the Armstrong Trail.
This cache is named after one of my favorite cats - Jasmine. She is a feral (born in the wild) Classic Tabby that I found in 2006 while out hiking a scenic trail up near Clarion, PA that some friends who were geocachers had told me about. She was badly dehydrated and a very hungry little kitten, but was still a scrappy little thing. It took about 4 years to get her to where she would sit on my lap without biting and scratching me, but now she is a very loving cat who enjoys being held (sometimes). I never see a trail in the woods along a waterway that I don't remember the day that I found her out there crying her eyes out - all lost and alone under a bridge.
The trail into this cache is level, but the terrain rating is higher due to the short hike in from public parking areas. BYOP.
TB has been placed for FTF.
Congrats to Whitefeather11 on FTF.
