Eeyore's Postal Code Challenge - a Paddling Cache Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

ohjoy!: Knowing I would no longer be able to care for this cache, I accepted the offer of giacaches and jtcoffee to pick up the container so that I could archive it. I first logged a similar challenge on the east coast and copied that idea.

Geocache Description:

I, Eeyore, have decided to add more challenges in this area for the well-rounded cacher. My life has been full of challenges, and I want yours to be the same.

This cache is at the posted coordinates and is reached by paddling on Lake St. Clair. Go behind the tree branches at an easy spot and look up. The container is a camouflaged preform hanging from branches of a large maple.

Over time, I want to place 10 challenges for you, in increments of 10. Who knows, that may be too much of a challenge for me.

For 50, it's (visit link)

For 60, it's (visit link)

For 100, it's (visit link)

For 30, it's this cache. Each state has a two letter Postal Code abbreviation. The challenge is to find 30 different caches with those Postal Codes in the GC Code. For instance, the code for Washington is WA, so you would need to have found a cache with the letters WA inside the GC code.

The good news is that you do not need to find Postal Codes for all 50 states. Currently geocaching algorithms allow only 29 Postal Codes, plus DC for Washington, DC. As a result, only 30 Postal Codes are required for this cache - 29 states and Washington, DC.

Please post your list (fairly well alphabetized by state or code) on this page, whether it be a complete text listing, a JPEG file or in a bookmark form. (If you use a bookmark, include this cache in the list.) Include the US Postal Code abbreviation, the GC#, the name of the cache, and the date found by you. If you use GSAK, cookshome has created a macro to run for this challenge at (visit link) See image below. Unfortunately, Project GC considers 0 to be O and 1 to be I. If you use that program, you'll have to eliminate states with I or O to get to the 30 requested GC#s.

Also, because the macro will not find DC, you will have to hunt for that one on your own. You can note that one in your found log if that is easiest.

It is ok to sign the log in advance if you happen to be nearby and will soon complete this challenge.

Don't forget to display your Discover Pass in your vehicle.
